Talika Lash Conditioning Cleanser

I popped into Space NK to purchase some cleansing water & possibly a hair texturing spray. So obviously I came out with a lash cleanser & neither of those products!! Ha! I explained to the assistant that I had been using the bioderma water for some time & that although I love using the product on my face, it irritates my eyes slightly. And so she recommended I try Talika lash cleanser. I wore some false lashes on a night out recently & thought that would be the perfect opportunity to try it, as I can never fully remove all of the glue from the lashes, which is both sticky & annoying!

The product has a really lovely formulation. Its light, non-greasy & incredibly gentle on the eye. It sinks in & glides over the lashes lovely. It does exactly w'hat it says on the tin- removes mascara & soothes & softens. I used around 2 pumps per cotton pad on each eye. The packaging is also beautiful.

This product is particularly beneficial to me as around 10 years ago through stress & a horrendous diet, my eyelashes fell out. They took around 6 months to grow back & never grew back as thick as they once were. So I'm always interested to try out products that are good for sensitive eyes & conditions weak/damaged lashes.

This product gets the thumbs up from me & I would love to try more products from this range. If anyone has any other recommendations, or has tried other Talika products, I would be very interested to hear about them.

This will probably be my last post before Christmas. So a very Merry Christmas to you all & hope you have been good enough this year to get what you wish for! ;)

Talika Lash Conditioning Cleanser is available from Space NK and Feel Unique

*Apologies for the terrible picture quality. My Canon slr is currently out on loan, so once I get it back I can upload better pics. I will also begin doing YouTube videos, eeeeeeek, exciting!*

Baby all I want for Christmas, is....a MAC brush-set, Dior Addict perfume, an Audi TT & Tom Hardy. Oh and......

I have wanted a hair mist for so long. If there is one thing (ok, MANY!) I like having, its good smelling hair. I have a *lot* of products with strong scents that help with this! I thought Chanel only did hair mist in No 5, which I am not really a huge fan of. So I was absolutely thrilled to learn that they also do it in Coco Mademoiselle and Allure! Nothing nicer than good-smelling locks.

I'm a pretty big fan of Urban Decay & always have their 24/7 eyeliner, eyeshadow primer & setting spray in my make-up bag. Id love to try out their new Naked Palette 3. The colours look beautiful & suitable for both low-key day & dramatic nightime smokey eye.

I have always loved wearing Doc Martens, ever since my first pair back in 1991. I will literally wear them with anything! I have only really stuck to dark colours (black, dark purple etc) but I'm feeling a little daring & ready to make a statement in these beauts! Lush.

I received the Thomas Sabo black obsidian charm bracelet for Christmas last year, & along with my Vivienne Westwood ring & skull earrings, is my favourite item of jewellery. I wear it everyday & I just love it. I only have a couple of charms on it at the moment, one of which is a skull which was chosen with it. What makes that special, is that the person who bought it for me had only known me for a short amount of time at that point & I was so pleased with it & impressed as I *love* skulls! For that reason ill always keep the skull on it, but with a few more charms in my collection, ill be able to alternate the others. I'd obviously love every charm in the collection, but at the moment my eyes are on the perfume bottle & the polka-dot bikini!

The Mulberry Daria Satchel has been on my Christmas & Birthday list for the past 4 years! To be honest, this is something I want to treat myself to & I'm confident it will happen in the latter part of 2014. However I do *need* it in black & Brown, so if someone wants to treat me to one of them....

And to finish off, an unlimited supply of Pierre Herme or Ladurée Macaroons. De-lish!

100th time lucky!

I have spent at least 3 years now looking for a proper leather jacket. During this time I have gone through 3 cheaper faux leather jackets which had just ripped & fallen to pieces in the end. So over the last year(!) or so, I had made it my mission to find 'the one'. But to no avail. I had tried on so many jackets, like a ridiculous amount, in various store & places (even parts of Europe & America!) but none had really done it for me. And given that I intended to spend a reasonable amount on it, I couldn't just settle for anything.
So I was in London on Regent Street and thought i'd just have quick look in All Saints, with no expectations.

I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. For a start they were fully stocked with my size (6) for everything I wanted to try on. Which was 3 jackets, 2 tops & an (ah-may-zingly sexual!) leather skirt. Whilst I was trying the clothes on, the assistant, Ellie, waited for me outiside & asked me to do a little fashion parade to show her how everything looked on. She was enthusiastic, honest & gave great advice, which was really refreshing. It was like having my own personal shopper! She was also super knowledgeable with the product & brand and even though it was a busy Sunday, she still took her time & never rushed me.

Even though I *really* wanted to buy everything I tried on, it was actually the first jacket that I tried on (standard!) which I bought. It has far less detail on it in comparison to the other 2 jackets I tried, but I just love it. Its elegant, classic & simple. It also fits perfectly with a top & a jumper on underneath. I choose the Belvedere jacket in black, which was £278. However, because Selfridges had a 20% off promotion going on, Ellie matched it giving me 20% off too, making it £222.40. Win!

I would thoroughly recommend this store & in particular Ellie. Nothing was too much trouble for her and I actually commended her to her manager who was really grateful for the feedback. I know from working in customer service that there isnt enough praise & I always do when I believe I have recieved outstanding service. So thank you Ellie & I will be seeing you again when I save enough money for the leather skirt!
